Your role

At HMS Networks, we empower industries to connect, communicate and innovate. Within our Industrial Data Solutions (IDS) division, we are creating a new Product Lifecycle Engineer role to bring technical clarity and structure to the lifecycle management of our products and components.

This is a newly created, tactical role: you are not a department manager, but you bring technical product insight and cross-functional coordination to help the organization anticipate risks, structure decisions and act on them at the right time. In a first phase, you will help design and roll out clear, standardized lifecycle management processes across our products.

You are comfortable digging into technical information, connecting the dots between Supply Chain, R&D and Product Management, and bringing forward well-informed, collaborative solutions. Your ability to anticipate issues before they escalate, and to communicate clearly with very different technical and business stakeholders, makes the difference.

Your responsabilities

Lifecycle Process & Governance

  • Coordinate the lifecycle management process for IDS products and components, from initial tracking through to the final decision (continuity, redesign, replacement, end-of-life).
  • Design and implement standardized, global lifecycle management processes across our product portfolio (first-phase priority, as this is a newly created role).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the lifecycle management process once established.

Risk Analysis & Technical Solutions

  • Analyze lifecycle-related risks (obsolescence, component end-of-life, supplier constraints) in collaboration with Supply Chain, R&D and Product Management.
  • Anticipate future technical and product issues based on information gathered across departments, and propose solutions ahead of time.
  • Collaborate with the different teams to identify design improvements that enhance durability, reliability and cost-efficiency.
  • Build and maintain clear dashboards and tracking materials to support decision-making.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Act as the technical coordination interface between Supply Chain, R&D and Product Management, ensuring smooth and proactive communication.
  • Adapt your communication style to different stakeholders to keep projects moving within agreed timelines.

Your profile

  • Good understanding of supply chain dynamics (mandatory).
  • Experience in an industrialization/production sector (mandatory).
  • Good command of Microsoft tools (Excel, Office).
  • English B2-C1. You evolve in an international environment and have daily communication in French and English.

Mindset & Soft Skills

  • Able to anticipate future problems and bring forward technically grounded solutions, based on input from different departments.
  • Excellent communicator, able to adapt to a wide range of technical and business stakeholders.
  • Proactive driving force: moves projects forward within agreed deadlines without waiting to be asked.
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting technical and cost data.
  • Organized and rigorous, comfortable managing several topics in parallel.
  • Collaborative, while still able to challenge and push things forward.
  • Comfortable operating in a newly created role and contributing to defining how it takes shape.

What we offer

  • A permanent contract within a fast-growing international technology company.
