YOUR MISSION

The HR Administration & Payroll Officer streamlines and optimizes HR processes, provide operational support and expertise, ensuring efficiency and compliance in areas such as payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS, to enhance overall organizational effectiveness. As HR Administration & Payroll Officer for BU Ewon you're based in Nivelles. Your main focus are the Nivelles employees, but you'll also be in contact with the colleagues from Sweden, Germany and Romania with regards to the HR related processes.The HR Administration & Payroll Officer reports to the HR Manager.

YOUR IMPACT : ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Manage HR administration/operations throughout the employee lifecycle, from preboarding to offboarding ensuring smooth and efficient processes (compliant with ISO 27001).
  • Oversee payroll processes and time/absence management specific to the Nivelles location, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
  • Maintain data integrity and generate insightful reports to support decision-making and strategic planning within the HR function.
  • Admin support to promote employee wellbeing (ESI), fostering employee satisfaction, engagement, and productivity while reducing turnover and absenteeism.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs tailored to the needs of employees in the Nivelles location, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with local regulations.
  • Ensure legal compliance related to employment contracts and payroll activities and adherence to work regulations specific to the Nivelles location.
  • Manage the administration of the performance management system, including goal setting and annual evaluation cycle, to support employee in this matter.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar experience (Executive Secretary or HR diploma, with experience in Business or equal through experience).
  • Good knowledge in Belgian labour law and payroll.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Professional experience of at least 3 years in HR.
  • Fluid in French and good knowledge of English.
